Gerard petri
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Gerard is one of the most well respected plumbers in NYC. His career began while he was in high school working for his family plumbing business with his father and brothers in Brooklyn, NY. He later earned a Master Plumbing License as well as a Master Fire Suppression License and shortly thereafter ventured on his own to found Phase 1 Group with a bold vision to grow and expand.
Joseph panico
Originally from Bayonne, NJ, Joe began his career in the field as a Local 1 Union Plumber. His attitude and tireless work ethic earned him the opportunity to become a partner with Phase 1 Group. Together, he and Gerard have grown the company from its inception in 1999 to what it is today - one of the most reputable companies in the construction industry.
Office Team
danielle petri Voskian
Danielle is the Office Manager for the Phase 1 Group. She specializes in organizing office operations to ensure effectiveness while maximizing cost efficiencies. She is also responsible for employee relations and performance management functions. Danielle has a BSBA from Western New England College and an MBA from Georgian Court University.
EDIS BAFTJARI
Edis is the Lead Project Manager at Phase 1 Group. A graduate of Polytechnic University (‘05) in New York, and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Edis began working at Phase 1 Group in 2007. After several years with Phase 1, he then left to work in Heavy Civil construction with a focus in Geotechnical/Foundations work. While working for various NYC agencies and private owners, he oversaw operations including large diameter pile drilling, site dewatering, and support of excavations up to 40’ in depth. Back now with Phase 1 Group, Edis is a Licensed Master Plumber in both NY & NJ, and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY.
BRIAN MULRANEY
Brian is a Project Manager & Site Utilities Estimator at Phase 1 Group. He is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology (‘17) in Hoboken, New Jersey and received a B.E. in Civil Engineering. Brian has estimated numerous projects for NYC agencies, including the SCA, DDC, DPR, as well as private owners, focusing in Exterior On-Site Drainage, Detention Systems, DEP Storm & Sanitary House Sewer Connections, DEP Water Service Connections, and DEP Street/Sidewalk Catch Basin & Chute Pipe Connections to existing Street Manholes.
JENNIFER STANCO
Jennifer is the Office Bookkeeper for the Phase 1 Group. She is responsible for handling accounts payable, invoices, and general bookkeeping.

Jimmy is is our lead foreman and project manager for site utility work. He has been a foreman with Phase 1 Group for nearly 20 years, providing on-site leadership at venues such as Yankee Stadium, NYU Kimmel Pavilion, and the New York Aquarium Ocean Wonders exhibit in Coney Island.
